Real vintage square nails, refurbished. These square nails likely date to pre-1900s. They had been pulled from a structure, leaving them bent and rusted We heated them, straightened them, cleaned them, and applied a blacksmith wax/oil finish to show the character of each nail. They will eventually rust if used in damp areas, or they can be maintained with a wax or oil finish. They appear to have a hand hammered rose head style. To use, be sure to pre-drill and cover the nail head with a cloth to prevent removing the wax finish. Use a rubber mallet if possible. Vintage, with unknown structural characteristics.
